Fulwell is an affluent area and former civil parish in the Sunderland district, in the county of Tyne and Wear, England. It borders Seaburn, Southwick, Monkwearmouth, and Roker, and the district border between Sunderland and South Tyneside. Fulwell ward, including South Bents and Seaburn, is the least socially deprived of the city's 25 wards. Until 1974 it was in County Durham.
