While the San Francisco 49ers have plenty of questions ahead of 2025, none might be as big as the wideout room. Roster questions at corner, offensive line, defensive line and linebacker linger, but the health of wideout Brandon Aiyuk is a huge topic of conversation around the 49ers headquarters this offseason.

Ricky Pearsall, who missed most of OTAs with a hamstring injury but was expected to be ready for the start of training camp, will now open camp on the physically unable to perform list, along with five other Niners including Brandon Aiyuk.

Aiyuk signed a lucrative new deal with the 49ers last offseason. He played in seven games, catching 25 passes for 374 yards. Back in 2023, he racked up 75 receptions for 1,342 yards and seven touchdowns, showing legitimate No. 1 wide receiver potential.
