Arthur Smith’s hat is officially in the ring in Chicago. The Bears announced that they have completed an interview with Smith for their head coaching vacancy on Wednesday. Smith is scheduled to interview with the Jets on Thursday.

Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith is making the head coach interview rounds, completing one with the Chicago Bears.

The Chicago Bears interviewed former Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy and Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith for their head coaching job on Wednesday. McCarthy met with the Bears two days after a split with Dallas after five years in what Cowboys owner Jerry Jones described as a mutual agreement.
