An around-the-world cruise ship, which set sail on Monday after months of delays, is still in Belfast Lough. Villa Vie Residences' Odyssey was scheduled to depart in May but has been beset with delays and five months after arriving, the ship has yet to leave Northern Ireland waters.

A cruise ship taking passengers on a 3 ½-year around-the-world voyage has finally sailed from Belfast, after spending four months stuck in the Northern Ireland capital.

A luxury cruise ship is set to return to Belfast just hours after it finally set sail on its three-year trip around the world. The Villa Vie Odyssey was due to embark on its lengthy cruise from Northern Ireland on 30 May, but emergency repair works left the boat - and its passengers - stranded for four months while they waited for it to leave.
