A tech company whose boss was filmed hugging a colleague at a Coldplay concert has said a purported statement from him expressing remorse is fake.

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin appeared to have inadvertently exposed an affair between tech CEO Andy Byron and his colleague Kristin Cabot during a recent concert.

“Whoa, look at these two,” Coldplay frontman Chris Martin quipped. “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”
