Seahawks rookie Nick Emmanwori will wear No. 3, previously worn by former QB Russell Wilson, and plans to make it "special."

While other rookies are being lightly scolded for trying to wear iconic numbers for their new franchise, Nick Emmanwori had no such issues getting Russell Wilson's No. 3 from the Seattle Seahawks. Speaking to reporters from rookie minicamp, Emmanwori confirmed he has chosen to don the jersey number that Wilson wore for 10 seasons in Seattle:

ESPN's Brady Henderson is reporting the Seahawks nearly traded back into the first round, to No. 32 overall in order to select Emmanwori. The final pick of the first round was originally owned by the Super Bowl winning Philadelphia Eagles.
