Franklin County voters are casting ballots Tuesday in two contested races for county offices. Democrat Shayla Favor is facing Republican John Rutan for the role of Franklin County prosecutor.

Superintendent of Schools Steve Lanier (REP) came out on top with 73% of the vote. Beating Jill R. Rudd (DEM). County Commissioner District 3 Anthony Croom, Jr. (REP) took the win over Elinor Susan Mount-Simmons (DEM) with 60% of the vote.
