Honda has revealed the new Passport SUV for the U.S.A market. Described as offering rugged design, authentic off-road capability, and next-level versatility and exceptional on-road performance, this new SUV is being launched with a 281bhp 3.5-litre V6 engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission that is said to get model-specific tuning.

The most obvious indication of this is the design that in many ways harkens back to the 1997-2002 second-generation model that was built by Isuzu. The new Passport has a chunkier, more squared off design with a flatter, longer hood, slightly more upright windshield and similar kick-up at the beltline toward the back of the rear doors.
