The San Diego Padres activated Jackson Merrill from the injured list after the outfielder was sidelined for a month with a strained left hamstring.

During their series against the New York Yankees, the Padres announced a couple of roster moves. They have reinstated their young stud, Jackson Merrill from the injured list and optioned catcher Luis Campusano to Triple-A. Merrill missed exactly a month after going down with a hamstring injury on April 6.
