The current Colorado Rockies third baseman hired a company to move his $300,000 car from his residence in Colorado to his off-season home in Las Vegas—but the car never made it there.

Members of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s auto theft team, U.S. Department of Homeland Security agents and Cherry Hills Village police worked together to find the Lamborghini. The car was spotted Oct. 7, and the driver told police that he owned a maintenance shop and was asked by a Texas man to fix the car’s computer system.

Kris Bryant's Lamborghini Huracan was stolen by a multi-state vehicle theft ring, but was recovered by police in Las Vegas after they traced the stolen vehicle to a home in the city.
