A gunman shot a state trooper during a traffic stop, carjacked a vehicle then drove to a church where he killed two women and wounded 2 men on Sunday, Lexington police said.

The coroner's office has confirmed the identity of the shooter as 47-year-old Guy House, who killed two women at Richmond Road Baptist Church after he injured a KSP trooper at the Blue Grass Airport.

Two women are dead, and a Kentucky State Police officer and two men were injured July 13 after a series of shootings near an airport and at a church in Lexington, officials said.
