The Department of Education’s investigation reveals how Owasso Public Schools in Oklahoma were handling student complaints of harassment and bullying.

After Nex Benedict died in February, the U.S. Department of Education found repeated violations of federal anti-harassment policies at Owasso schools.

In an agreement with federal investigators, Owasso school officials promised to address instances of discrimination and sex-based harassment of students.
