All eyes across the NFL have been on Shedeur Sanders, the polarizing rookie quarterback for the Cleveland Browns. He has been the subject of lots of scrutiny because he is the son of Hall of Famer Deion Sanders and because, according to plenty, he has hyped himself up.

The Browns got football fans all riled up last weekend, after Shedeur Sanders broke out in Charlotte for his unofficial NFL debut. The rookie quarterback was injured on Wednesday, and he’s unlikely to play come Saturday. Julian Okwara, an edge rusher who has been in the league since 2020, notched two sacks in Cleveland’s 30-10 preseason win.

Sanders started for Cleveland and played into the third quarter before he was eventually replaced by Tyler Huntley. The first-year passer finished 14-of-23 for 138 yards and two touchdowns without tossing an interception. He also rushed for 19 yards on four attempts.
