New York Jets sign kicker Nick Folk again

After a few uneven performances at training camp, Jets general manager Darren Mougey is now considering going in a different direction. The Jets hosted free-agent kicker Nick Folk on a visit on Monday and went on to re-sign him on Tuesday. Folk kicked for the Jets from 2010-16.

Jets tease potential reunion with K Nick Folk

Folk would bring considerably more reliability to the Jets' kicking game. Together, Mougey and special teams coordinator Chris Banjo must decide if they want to gamble on Mevis or Davis being a long-term solution. Signing Folk would obviously be a short-term fix.
