Nvidia's earnings report on Wednesday will put the finishing touches on one of the most remarkable years from a large company ever.

Nvidia on Wednesday reported a surge in fourth-quarter profit and sales as demand for its specialized Blackwell chips, which power artificial intelligence systems, continued to grow, sending the company's stock higher after hours.

Nvidia, the chip giant at the heart of the artificial intelligence (AI) boom, said business remained strong, despite fears of a bubble stirred by the launch of Chinese AI firm DeepSeek's launch on the scene last month. Sales of the firm's chips hit more than $39bn (£30.7bn) over the three months ended 27 January, up 74% year-on-year.
