The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed third-round NFL Draft pick, running back Kaleb Johnson, to a rookie contract. The team announced the deal Friday. Financial terms of the four-year deal were not disclosed.

On Friday, the Pittsburgh Steelers were busy. The Steelers rookie camp was in full swing and the organization took advantage of having these players at the facilities by inking six of their seven picks from the 2025 NFL draft to their rookie contracts.

The Pittsburgh Steelers officially signed six draft picks to rookie deals on Friday. Among those rookies that are now officially under contract are: QB Will Howard – Ohio State (6th round draft pick) – 4-year contract LB Jack Sawyer – Ohio State (4th round pick) – 4-year contract RB Kaleb Johnson – Iowa (3rd round pick) – 4-year contract DE Yahya Black – Iowa (5th round pick) – 4-year contract LB Carson Bruener – University of Washington (7th round pick) – 4-year contract CB Donte Kent – Central Michigan (7th round pick) – 4-year contract The only Pittsburgh draft pick that remains unsigned is are first-round pick Derrick Harmon.

The Pittsburgh Steelers made sure they secured the services of their newest quarterback. The Steelers announced that they signed Will Howard to a four-year contract, who they selected with the No. 185 pick in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
