A staffer in a New York City district attorney’s office has been arrested after attempting to make an explosive to attack a migrant shelter located across from his apartment.

In a wild tirade to another person inside Queens Criminal Court, a now-former paralegal with the Queens district attorney’s office outlined his plan to use explosives on migrants living at a shelter next to his apartment.

The employee, Derek Klever, told a witness that he was fed up with migrants partying at the shelter across from his apartment, according to court documents. “This is a war,” he said.

Police say Derek Klever, 27, threatened to blow up the Kamway Lodge in Elmhurst because of the noise. A complaint said he was fed up with migrants 'having a party at 8 in the morning.'
