The versatile Dutchman, Mathieu van der Poel, who wore the yellow jersey and won a stage during the opening week of Tour de France, has withdrawn from the race.

The Tour de France is in its final week and the racers return to the road for Stage 16 on Tuesday, July 22 after having their second and last rest day on Monday.
