Netflix's mystery thriller Untamed may have just only dropped onto the streaming service but eager fans have already binged the whole lot - as they make the same comment

The setting and unique law enforcement politics, along with solid performances by Bana, Neill, DeWitt and Santiago, make Untamed the kind of show you might turn on as a distraction instead of a show that requires close watching. But it’s an entertaining distraction, with just enough story to keep things moving.

True Detective is known for its A-list cast list and Untamed certainly competes in that area itself. It is lead by Australian actor Eric Bana, who has starred in Troy, The Time Traveller's Wife and played the Hulk before the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The supporting cast also brings their layers, emotional weight, and depth to the story. Sam Neill is perfection as Paul Souter, the seasoned chief ranger whose wisdom masks his unease. Lily Santiago is a standout as Naya Vasquez, a determined former LA cop, turned rookie park ranger, balancing motherhood.
