Coshocton once again leads Ohio as the county with the most deer harvested during the weeklong gun season that ended Dec. 7. Coshocton County hunters bagged 3,037 deer in 2025, up from 2,955 in 2024.

Ohio's youth gun season for deer hunters aged 17 and under is scheduled for November 22 and 23, 2025. The main deer gun season for 2025 will run from December 1-7 and again on December 20-21.
