A 23-year-old Gainesville man died in a two-vehicle crash March 11 on State Road 24 east of Southwest 56th Terrace, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol. According to the report, a 23-year-old Gainesville man was driving a motorcycle west on State Road 24 (Archer Road) when he lost control and was thrown from his vehicle into the path of an oncoming tanker truck.
