Google, Tesla, and HVAC firm Carrier have formed a new lobbying group focused on grid capacity in the US.

The duo have teamed up with other companies to launch Utilize, which seeks to change how the grid is used and regulated.

The coalition, branded Utilize, plans to lobby policymakers and utilities to encourage distributed power generation and grid management to unlock capacity.
