Serena Williams has opened up on the phone call she received from Kendrick Lamar inviting her to be part of his Super Bowl half-time show performance. Lamar promised a surprise at his show and he delivered. The 23-time Grand Slam champion made a cameo, crip walking while Lamar performed Not Like Us, his Drake diss track.

Along the way, the Lexington teen crossed paths not only with Kendrick Lamar, but also Jay-Z, Samuel L. Jackson and Serena Williams.

During Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime performance, performers were seen streaming out of a 1988 Buick on stage that was detailed by a Los Angeles entrepreneur who the show producers found on Google.
