Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has never competed in the Slam Dunk Contest over his 23-year career, but head coach JJ Redick joked that the league will try to get the 41-year-old involved after his three slam dunks during a 142-111 road win over the Washington Wizards on Friday evening.
James talked about his dunks after the game. When reporters asked him about his ratings on his own dunks, the 23-year veteran deferred to his huge fan base for the dunk scores. “Uh… I don’t know. I’ll let my LeBron faithful fan group rate ‘em. I love those guys,” James said.
