A Maine teenager has been charged with murdering the woman who disappeared while paddleboarding on a rural pond earlier this month, authorities said Friday.

Sunshine Stewart, 48, was found dead near 100 Acre Island after disappearing while paddle boarding in Union, Maine.

The condition of the body when it was found indicated the death was not a suicide or an accidental drowning, officials said.
