The Seattle Seahawks win over the San Francisco 49ers in the final week of the regular season on Saturday simplified the formula to figure out the one remaining opponent for the Miami Dolphins to be determined for the 2026 schedule.

If the Patriots offense racks up points next week, it'll cost three Dolphins defensive players a lot of money.

The Patriots finished 14-3, their most victories since they won the Super Bowl to cap the 2016 season. The AFC East champions will be No. 2 seed in the playoffs and host the seventh-seeded Los Angeles Chargers in the wild-card round next weekend. Denver prevented New England from earning the AFC's top seed by beating the Chargers 19-3 on Sunday.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Miami Dolphins meet Sunday in a Week 17 game at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET.

The New England Patriots still have a chance at the AFC's No. 1 seed on Sunday when they host the Miami Dolphins in an NFL Week 18 AFC East matchup. Quarterback Drake Maye will try to lock up the MVP award -- he is the -295 favorite at DraftKings -- and lead the Patriots (13-3) into the postseason on a roll.
