The Razorbacks got punched in the mouth over the first 20 minutes, and the effort was lacking. Auburn is outscoring Arkansas 12-2 in fastbreak points and out-rebounding the Hogs 22-12. Darius Acuff Jr. leads the Razorbacks with 12 points, but Arkansas is shooting just 36.7% from the field.

Mississippi State guard Jayden Epps scored a season-high 27 points. Texas guard/forward Dailyn Swain recorded 34 points and 14 rebounds before fouling out with 1:42 left in the second half. Chendall Weaver's 3-pointer with 8:57 remaining gave Texas its first lead since midway in the first half.
