The ongoing United States government shutdown — still underway — will have lasting effects on air travel that won’t be easy to resolve.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) -Despite hopes the federal government shutdown could end this week, air travelers in the United States are still in for a rough few days of cancellations and delays nationwide before taking to the skies gets back to normal.
More than 1,500 flights were canceled across the country early on Monday amid the Federal Aviation Administration's limiting capacity at 40 major U.S. airports.
