A 43-year-old man is facing a murder charge in connection with a homicide that occurred overnight in Pleasant Grove, according to police. Officers responded to a call for service in the 6200 block of Military Parkway at about 3:30 a.m., a statement from Dallas police said. When officers arrived at the scene, they found “an unresponsive victim.”

A 54-year-old New Jersey man is charged with attempted homicide after pouring gasoline on a woman and threatening to light her on fire Friday morning, police said.

Authorities in Okeechobee County said a man killed Sunday in a confrontation with deputies may be connected to a double homicide earlier in the day.
