A business partner and former agent for Pro Football Hall of Famer John Elway has died after suffering an injury at a Southern California golf resort

Jeff Sperbeck, a longtime player agent and business partner to Hall of Famer John Elway, died early Wednesday in Palm Springs from injuries suffered after falling from a golf cart driven by the legendary Denver Broncos quarterback.

There are no words to truly express the profound sadness I feel with the sudden loss of someone who has meant so much to me,” Elway said.
