Eli Lilly said Wednesday it will invest $4.5 billion to build an advanced pharmaceutical drug manufacturing and development facility in Lebanon, Indiana expected to open in late 2027.

U.S. drugmaker Eli Lilly said on Wednesday it will invest $4.5 billion to create a new center for advanced manufacturing and drug development in Indiana. The center, Lilly Medicine Foundry, will focus on researching new ways of producing medicines and scaling up the production of drugs used in its clinical trials.

Eli Lilly (LLY) plans to open a drug manufacturing/ R&D center in Indiana at a cost of $4.5B in late 2027. Read more here.
