Sean Longstaff thinks he has found the perfect home at Leeds United after completing an emotional transfer from Newcastle United.
Leeds United have added Sean Longstaff to their ranks ahead of the Premier League's return next month. The 27-year-old became the Whites' fifth signing of the summer on Friday night as he sealed a move to Elland Road in a deal worth an initial £12 million.
After leaving boyhood club Newcastle United, Sean Longstaff spoke about what made him want to make the move to Leeds United.
Longstaff has signed a deal to 2029 at Elland Road. He told the Leeds website: “I remember obviously playing here as a little kid, nine, 10 years old. It is funny where life takes you. So to be back here now with the plans for the club and stuff, I think it is just really exciting to get going.
