After years of saying it was cutting down its release slate in the wake of pushing out too much too quickly, Marvel seems to be gearing up to go nuts again.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has added a secret movie to its release schedule, and in doing so, the MCU is breaking a 4-year franchise trend.

Disney announced on Wednesday that Marvel Studios is scheduled to release an untitled movie on Dec. 15, 2028. It would be the fourth feature from the division set for that calendar year, with previously announced films scheduled for release in February,
