Meta is adding yet another top A.I. expert to the company’s rapidly growing roster of talent, much of it plucked from rival firms like OpenAI, Anthropic and Google. Apple now joins the mix of disgruntled competitors, with researcher Ruoming Pang leaving the iPhone maker to join Mark Zuckerberg ’s push toward advanced forms of A.I.

Meta's recruits two more researchers from Apple, after poaching their boss, for its Superintelligence Labs. This move follows Meta's previous hiring spree that included several employees from OpenAI.

Apple's top executive in charge of artificial intelligence models, Ruoming Pang, is leaving the company for Meta Platforms , Bloomberg News reported on Monday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.
