Jamie Carragher has claimed Arsenal will have a “massive issue” over Mikel Arteta ’s future if they do not win a trophy next season. The Gunners are on course to finish second in the Premier League for the third season in a row, though there has been a drop-off in the strength of their title challenge.

The left-back did well for much of this game, keeping Mohamed Salah quiet and instead it was the other two players from Liverpool’s front-three that caused Arsenal problems. Cody Gakpo put the Reds ahead after turning in Robertson’s cross, while Luis Diaz got the second a minute later.
