As people across the country prepare to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., communities in the Big Country are coming together for a morning of reflection and celebration. Hardin-Simmons University will host its fourth annual Martin Luther King Jr.
The Kingdom Day Parade, volunteer fests, and concerts will spotlight the civil rights leader’s works, deeds, and legacy.

Broome County MLK Commission to host MLK Day events in Binghamton
Martin Luther King Jr. Day is this upcoming Monday and Greater Binghamton will be hosting events to commemorate the life of the civil rights activist. The Broome County Martin Luther King Jr. Commission is holding a march starting at 5:30pm at the Martin Luther King Promenade at the Court Street Bridge
