Evan Carter was recalled by the Texas Rangers on Tuesday from Triple-A Round Rock, where the outfielder had been all this season after being hurt most of last year following his impressive debut late in the run to their only World Series title in 2023.

Carter, who’s dealt with chronic back issues since his professional career began, has overhauled his routine with hyperbaric chambers, cryotherapy, IV’s and needling to relieve pain in his back. He played in five of Round Rock’s last six games before his callup and said he “feels great right now.”
