After an impressive 2024 campaign, four Detroit Lions are up for major awards. Included in that four is quarterback Jared Goff, who is a finalist for the Most Valuable Player award.

Here are the five finalists for the eight AP NFL awards that will be given out on Feb. 6, listed in alphabetical order: Brian Thomas Jr.

Quarterback Jared Goff is a finalist for Most Valuable Player, while head coach Dan Campbell is a finalist for Coach of the Year. The NFL Honors ceremony is slated for Thursday, Feb. 6 at 9 p.m.

Four quarterbacks and 2,000-yard rusher Saquon Barkley are the five finalists for NFL MVP for the 2024 season.

He won't come close to winning this award because Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, and Josh Allen were in a league of their own at QB this season, but Goff does deserve some recognition for his play as he led the best offense in the NFL to the top seed in the NFC.
