A Philadelphia police officer is in the hospital after they say the officer was struck by a civilian vehicle in South Philly Sunday evening.

Video of the crash, which took place during the Eagles game Sunday, allegedly shows Thomas Herrschaft striking the car with his Mercedes.

The officer, assigned to the traffic division, was struck at around 5:57 p.m. at 1000 Pattison Ave., police said.
