PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - One person has died following a house fire in Pike County. Troopers with Kentucky State Police Post 9 received a 911 call about the incident at approximately 10:10 p.m. on Wednesday. Investigators were called to the scene at Caney Drive in Pikeville. According to Kentucky State Police, Jerome Norman, 43, of Raccoon, Kentucky, has an active arrest warrant for kidnapping (with physical injury), first-degree criminal abuse (child 12 or under), first-degree assault, and second-degree fleeing or evading police.
