Rite Aid has announced that it is set to close 115 stores as part of the Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings it began earlier this month. The company published a slate of 47 closing stores in an initial filing in the U.

Drugstore chain Rite Aid has identified dozens of additional stores that it will shutter as it scrambles to sell its pharmacy assets.

In a new court filing on May 9, Rite Aid listed 68 stores closing including two in Upstate New York at 9 Broad Street in Salamanca, and 1070 Genesee Street in Buffalo. The company also said it acquired $1.94 billion in financing to keep its other locations open to keep stores operational during bankruptcy proceedings and a potential sale.
