Collins is known for co-authoring the Laken Riley Act, which focuses on deporting immigrants who commit crimes after crossing the border illegally.

It comes as the GOP hopes to oust Jon Ossoff from the U.S. Senate, which is seen as one of the most vulnerable Democratic Senate seats in the 2026 election cycle.
