Hurry Up Tomorrow is the final installment of the trilogy that began with After Hours, and according to a 2023 interview, Tesfaye is considering it his final album under the name The Weeknd.

But all that flash is of little substance when there’s not much narrative heft to back it up. “Hurry Up Tomorrow” is, after all, a whopping 106 minutes long.

And then it is gone. That September night in 2022 marked a turning point for Tesfaye. He mines the scene in “Hurry Up Tomorrow, ” where, ironically, it arrives too late.

“Hurry Up Tomorrow,” a Lionsgate release, is rated R by the Motion Picture Association for language throughout, drug use, some bloody violence and brief nudity. Running time: 105 minutes.

Now, with the upcoming release of “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” he is ready to close off his chapter as The Weeknd and is excited for what tomorrow looks like as Abel Tesfaye.
