Actor Nagarjuna on Thursday filed a complaint against Telangana Minister and Congress leader Konda Surekha over her remarks on the divorce of his son and actor Naga Chaitanya and actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Nagarjuna has filed a defamation case against Surekha in the Nampally court under section 356 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

The recent derogatory comments made by the Telangana political leader Konda Surekha on the relationship and divorce of Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu have been receiving criticisms online and the whole film industry has taken a stand on the matter.

Surekha was speaking in the former Telangana chief minister's constituency of Gajwel on Thursday and urged her party members to file a missing case for K Chandrashekar Rao, who is popularly known as KCR.

Surekha recently sparked a major uproar by claiming that Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) interfered in the relationship between Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, leading to their divorce.
