Pittsburgh Pirates fan Kavan Markwood, 20, spoke for the first time since his terrifying fall more than 20 feet onto the warning track at PNC Park last week.

The Pittsburgh Pirates fan who fell 21 feet onto the warning track at PNC Park during an April 30 game against the Chicago Cubs gave an update on his condition for the first time on Wednesday.

Speaking with the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Kavan Markwood said he hasn't watched any video of the fall that left him motionless on the warning track. He reportedly described his injuries as "broken everything" but said he is expected to be released from Allegheny General Hospital in about a week.
