MADRID, December 27. /TASS/. Russian sailors that survived the crash of the Ursa Major freighter near the Spanish coast, departed from Madrid to Russia, the Russian embassy in Spain said.
The Ursa Major dry cargo ship wrecked in the Mediterranean Sea. According to the Russian Foreign Ministry's crisis and situation analysis center, the ship sank after an explosion in the engine room.
Ursa Major will mature two engines, one to replace Russian rocket engines for satellites and the other to support hypersonic testbeds and aerial targets.
Ursa Major plans to next conduct more tests of this motor, including with an extended-range version, in 2025, according to Jablonsky. The system is expected to be qualified in 2026.
