Sheffield steelmakers have been given a major role in plans announced by the Government to re-build Britain’s steel industry.

A second flood alert has been put in place affecting part of Sheffield, with a warning to avoid paths near rivers.

Sheffield United are currently in advanced talks to sign Leicester City star Hamza Choudhury on a loan deal in January.
