SAN LEANDRO — Two brothers were charged Monday in the fatal shooting May 5 of a 53-year-old man during an attempted robbery outside his home, according to police and court records.

Two brothers have been officially charged with murder for the shooting death of a man in San Leandro last May, the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office said Tuesday.

Two siblings were charged with murder in a botched marijuana robbery in San Leandro that left a man dead, authorities said. Mauricio Moreno, 28, and Erik Moreno, 18, both of Hayward, are accused by the Alameda County District Attorney's Office in the shooting death of Anderson Choy,

Three men were arrested on Sept. 19 in connection with a murder that happened in May in San Leandro, the San Leandro Police Department said. The victim was pulling into his driveway when he was shot in the neck with an assault rifle.
