Despite It's routine to be let down over Titanfall news, but the latest cancelled project by Respawn is just as confusing as it is disappointing.

IGN reports that about 100 employees at Respawn were laid off, including developers, QA workers, and publishing staffers. IGN also says that some workers were moved from Respawn over to EA Motive’s Iron Man game, the Battlefield series, “and other projects.”

EA and Respawn have reportedly cancelled a Titanfall Extraction Shooter, after news of layoffs hitting the publisher and studio.
