Mike Williams' return to Los Angeles won't happen after all. The veteran wide receiver informed the Chargers that he plans to retire after eight seasons, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Thursday.

Wide receiver Mike Williams’ agent has informed the Chargers he is retiring, the team confirmed Thursday as training camp began.

It remains unclear how much time new Charger Najee Harris will miss following injuries sustained in a Fourth of July fireworks incident.

The Los Angeles Chargers did not exactly get high marks from most when they signed running back Najee Harris to a one-year contract in free agency. While Harris
